When you create an account or purchase a course on academy.profoto.com, certain personal data such as your name, email address, and payment details are collected and processed by Teachable on behalf of Profoto. Teachable acts as a data processor, handling this information under Profoto’s instructions and in accordance with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for international data transfers.

Teachable may also use third-party payment processors and hosting providers to operate its services securely. All such processing is governed by data protection agreements ensuring compliance with GDPR standards.

- Account data is stored while your Profoto Academy account is active and for two years after inactivity, unless you request deletion earlier.
- Payment and financial data is stored for seven years in compliance with Swedish accounting law.
- Marketing contact details are kept for up to two years after your last interaction unless you unsubscribe.
